Positions duties and responsibilities
Responsible for the inbound, warehousing and distribution of products using all resources available. Ensuring smooth operation within predefined time. Applying the company’s strategy to customer needs. Achieving profitable, short-term and long-term goals, building strong foundations and business relationships with customers.
- Following health and safety rules and regulations. Making sure all internal audits are successful.
- Making sure that the correct products and correct amounts are at the correct place at the right time.
- Be familiar with state-of-the-art systems and methods.
- Effectively coordinate a range of issues presented at the same time with the primary objective of meeting the needs of the company’s clients.
- Setting clear expectations for the team.
- Responding constructively to customer complaints.
- Developing and managing long-term business relationships with partners and customers.
- Monitoring the flow of goods in the warehouse and controlling the completion of the order cycle.
- Managing all subcontractor partners by ensuring that they perform their duties and obligations on the basis of obligations arising from contracts.
- Maximizing the efficiency of inventory management with the least possible loss of returns and damaged products.
- Constant improvement and renewal of the company’s processes and systems.
- Providing analysis of the activities of the department to top management and suggesting improvement measures.
- Developing, negotiating, implementing and supervising specific customer needs defined by the company’s objectives, defining best practices.
- Preparing and conducting customer evaluations regularly and proposing improvements.
- Monitoring the financial position of the department within the limits set by the Finance Director.
- Developing and managing long-term professional relationships with clients.
- Evaluating in cooperation with the sales department the retail trade response for specific activities.
- Performance management, managing the team in cooperation with the HR Manager, identifying training needs and conducting or organizing trainings.
- Knowledge of corporate software as well as WMS (Warehouse Management System).
Position’s requirements:
- University degree in Logistics, Mathematics, Financial Management, Statistics or any other relevant field
- At least 5 years of working experience in Logistics Field
- Strong Analytical, Numerical and Financial Modeling skills
- Strong planning and organizing skills as well as detail orientation and business acumen
- Very good Knowledge of Greek and English Language
- Experience with ERP will be considered as an advantage
